Beauty in a Bold Bangle

I don’t do delicate and small- I never have. 

Part of the reason may be the most obvious when you meet me—I am not a 'small human’. At almost six feet tall, I’ve never had the option of not taking up space. Not that I mind (I am, in my humble opinion, an Amazon goddess of a woman- wielding a hammer and fire!) So where does this leave me in the world of delicate, dainty jewelry making?— I get to be the bull in the china shop with the opportunity to challenge and break all of the rules.

Because of this—All of my pieces are a big bold statements. 

They reflect me and who I am as an artist, as a mother, and a creator. I’m a feminist challenging the idea of “Femininity” as an excuse for being small and dainty, or fragile and precious. There are so many beautiful pieces of jewelry out in the world, but there is never enough pieces that are practical enough to wear every single day. Enter the Bold Bangle! In my world, jewelry should be worn every day, and not only worn ( and something you love) but something practical and well-made so that it’s okay if you bump into something with it.
